FIERY HEAD-ON COLLISION IN MONROE COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI KILLS THREE
WTVA news reports three people were tragically killed in a car crash in Monroe County, Mississippi on Tuesday evening. According to Mississippi Highway Patrol, the collision involved two vehicles and occurred just north of Highway 382 on Highway 45 Alternate.
The crash happened around 8:38 p.m. when a vehicle headed north in a southbound lane collided with another vehicle travelling southbound. As a result of the head-on collision, both vehicles caught fire and all passengers were pronounced dead at the scene; two victims in the vehicle travelling northbound, and one victim in the southbound vehicle. The car crash is currently under investigation by authorities.
