FIAT CHRYSLER RECALLS OVER 500,000 RAM PICKUP TRUCKS THAT COULD EXPERIENCE LOSS OF STEERING
Fiat Chrysler is recalling over 500,000 trucks in the U.S. to fix an auto defect that could potentially lead to steering loss.
This recall affects the 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017 Heavy Duty Ram 2500 pickup trucks and 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017 Heavy Duty Ram 3500 pickup trucks.
How does this happen?
This issue originates from “the part that connects the truck’s steering with its front wheels—called a steering linkage—could separate over time. As a result, drivers may lose the ability to steer the truck.”
