DEADLY ARIZONA GOLF COURSE PLANE CRASH CAUGHT ON SURVEILLANCE TAPE
According to Fox News, a golf course plane crash in Scottsdale, Arizona was caught on a traffic camera’s surveillance tape. The video shows the Piper PA-24 plane burst into flames upon impact with terrain on April 9, 2018 on its way from Scottsdale, Arizona to Las Vegas, Nevada.
The Plane, which was carrying six passengers, took off from Scottsdale, Arizona around 8:45 p.m. Traffic camera footage shows the plane turning left before plummeting down to the TPC Scottsdale Champions Golf Course shortly after takeoff, killing everyone on board.
National Transportation Safety Board said in a preliminary report, “As the turn progressed, the bank angle increased, and the airplane started to descend. The wings became nearly vertical, and the view of the airplane was lost behind a berm. Seconds later, the camera caught a fireball when the airplane impacted terrain.”
Police identified those killed in the Arizona golf course crash as Erik Valente, 26; Anand Anil Patel, 28; Helena Lago, 22; Mariah Sunshine Coogan, 23; and James Louis Pedroza, 28; Iris Carolina Rodriguez Garcia, 23.
